Stefan Kraatz, the owner, was born and raised in Braunschweig and has been living and breathing music all his life. 
After graduating, he studied sound engineering in Berlin, founded a music label and set up his first home studio. During this time, he built a large network within the music industry, performed as a DJ in Berlin, and toured Europe with various well-known artists. Stefan has worked as a high-profile audio engineer at various well-known studios for more than 20 years. In 2020, he finally founded his own studio: Kraatz Studios GmbH.

Originally from northern Germany, Maurice has been based in Berlin for over a decade. He studied sound engineering in Hamburg and Berlin and spent more than ten years DJing in clubs across Europe. Maurice also brings extensive experience as an audio engineer and producer, having worked in several renowned studios for the same duration. In 2020, he founded “Word Up”, a voice talent management service. At Kraatz Studios he will contribute and advise you as an equally reliable and experienced audio producer.

Growing up in Berlin, Jonas Mantey naturally developed an interest for the citys infamous electronic music scene. After a couple of releases he started touring Europe as a live act and DJ besides still being in Highschool. After graduating he continued this journey while consistently growing his skills as a music producer and sound designer. In early 2021 Jonas joined Kraatz Studios as the engineer of the newly built „Studio B“ to meet the Studios growing popularity.

Also known as yunis, is a music producer and studied audio engineer from Northern Germany, with deep roots in Hamburg’s bass music scene. Specializing in halftime beats and leftfield bass, he has made a name for himself as both a DJ and live act, touring across Europe and North America. In addition to his live performances, Jonas founded his own label in 2023 and works as a composer and sound designer since 2010. He is the newest member of Kraatz Studios, where he continues to explore innovative soundscapes and contribute to various projects.

Born in Brandenburg as a real “Botzensteiner” miniature dachshund. Since the beginning of Kraatz Studios, the dachshund lady has been guarding the studio rooms and welcomes every guest with joy. She puts a smile on everyone's face and lifts everyone's spirits. Lotta has a lot of experience in sound design and has already lent her bark or growl to several productions.
